Crystal Mountain Bikini Downhill
The galaxy's most outrageous springtime tradition — skiers and snowboarders race Quicksilver Run in swimwear, scored on style, speed, and stein volume.
About the event
Crystal Mountain's annual spring tradition takes place on Quicksilver Run. Racers descend in swimwear — regardless of actual April temperatures — while carrying an assigned stein. Points are awarded for style (10 pts), speed (10 pts), and stein volume — the amount of liquid retained at the finish line (10 pts). First place in each category wins a 2026–27 IKON season pass.
Proceeds benefit the Crystal Mountain Fire Department. Registration opens at Rafters from 8:30–10:00 AM. Race starts at 2:00 PM. Awards ceremony and live music at 3:00 PM.
What to expect
Festive spring-skiing atmosphere. Everyone in swimwear regardless of actual April temperatures. Each racer is assigned a stein at the start — liquid retention is scored. All racers must wear a visible race number on the left arm and left leg and pass through all gates. A lift ticket or season pass is required in addition to race registration at Rafters.
